Every Sunday in October, join local artist Emma Puccio for a festive afternoon of painting, sipping, and seasonal fun. Emma will guide you step-by-step as you create your own 11" x 14" painting to take home. No painting experience is necessary—just come ready to get creative and enjoy a little October magic.

Salem's Comedy Coven, Limited run September - November 2026 | Hotel Salem
Hidden beneath The Cellar at Hotel Salem, Salem’s Comedy Coven returns for a limited Halloween engagement. Presented by Salem’s Haunted Neighborhood in partnership with Witch City Comedy, this haunted comedy pop-up summons some of New England’s funniest comedians for a night of wicked stand-up, eerie surprises, and laughs that refuse to stay buried.
Escape the October crowds, grab a cocktail, and descend underground for an intimate comedy experience packed with spooky atmosphere and killer laughs. Whether you’re ending a full day in Salem or just looking for something a little different after dark, the Coven is calling.
But it won’t last long. The coven gathers for only a few short weeks each fall, and seating is limited. When Halloween ends, the laughter disappears back into the shadows until next year.

Salem's Comedy Coven, September 17 – November 7, 2026 | Derby Square
Salem's Comedy Coven is back... but only for the Halloween season.
Hidden inside The Lost Library's Black Box Theater, this limited-run haunted comedy pop-up returns for just a few weeks each fall. Created in partnership with Witch City Comedy, the show brings together some of New England's funniest comedians for an evening of wicked stand-up, eerie surprises, and laughs that are anything but dead.

Whether you're taking a break from haunted houses or looking to experience Salem after dark, Salem's Comedy Coven is the perfect addition to your Halloween itinerary. Seating is limited, and once the season ends, the coven disappears until next year.

Hosted by Local Botany Witch in collaboration with The Lost Library and Coven and Clay, each guest will receive a live plant to play with—and take home! Salem Celebrates The Fourth, July 4, 2026 | Derby Wharf, Salem Common
Salem's Fourth of July festivities begin during the day with the annual Bike Parade on Salem Common. Kids are invited to decorate their bikes, scooters, strollers, and wagons before joining a festive loop around the Common. Afterward, participants can take part in a bike rodeo and bicycle safety activities. Then spend the afternoon exploring Salem's shops, museums, waterfront, and historic sites before heading to Derby Wharf for the evening celebration and fireworks. Festivities begin at 5 PM, with fireworks lighting up the sky at 9:15 PM.
DIY Stained Glass Craft Class, July 9, 2026 | The Lost Library, Salem
Create your own stained glass–inspired wall hanging in this hands-on workshop inside the Lost Library’s Black Box Theater. Using simple techniques that replicate the look of real stained glass (without cutting glass), you’ll design a colorful, light-catching piece to display at home.
Templates will be provided, or feel free to freehand your own design. All materials are included.
No experience needed — just come ready to make something beautiful, a little witchy, and totally unique.
