Salem Celebrates The Fourth, July 4, 2026 | Derby Wharf, Salem Common

Salem's Fourth of July festivities begin during the day with the annual Bike Parade on Salem Common. Kids are invited to decorate their bikes, scooters, strollers, and wagons before joining a festive loop around the Common. Afterward, participants can take part in a bike rodeo and bicycle safety activities. Then spend the afternoon exploring Salem's shops, museums, waterfront, and historic sites before heading to Derby Wharf for the evening celebration and fireworks. Festivities begin at 5 PM, with fireworks lighting up the sky at 9:15 PM.
